Radcliffe  2 v Old Boltonians 8

After starting last week's game on the bench Nick Luke started the game this week with a point to prove and that he did. The opening 15 minutes saw Old Bolts squander 3 good chances including a missed penalty, only for Nick Luke to step up to the mark and nail his first goal of the season which came from some great passing throughout the team which led to the great finish.

What followed was an awful challenge on Walsh which should have seen the Radcliffe team down to 10 men but the ref only handed out a weak yellow. With a bee in his bonnet Walsh took the free kick from just outside the box that the keeper could do nothing about.

With Old Bolts going into the 2nd half  2-0 up, both Baz Culf and Simon Shields wanted an early goal to finish of the Radcliff side. Instead we started to deploy the long ball and the football went out the window. Still captain Craig Jolley settled the team down before Walsh fired home his second of the from just outside the box.

Bolts got their final goal from another penalty which was coolly slotted home by Ryan Hardwidge. Bolts made the game look a lot harder than it actually was and in the end giving away a silly goal but hey ho it's 6 points out of 6 and 6 goals in 2 games who am I to complain.
